Visit the official Weavy AI website and sign in using your Google account. Once you're inside the dashboard, you'll see the main workspace where every workflow is created.

The next step is finding the correct workflow. Inside the left panel, search for "Wan 2.2 Animate." You'll notice several Wan models listed, but for this tutorial I used Wan 2.2 Animate because it produced the most consistent results during my testing.
Simply drag the workflow into the workspace. After dropping it into the canvas, the workflow appears with different nodes already connected together. If you've never used a node editor before, don't worry. You don't need to build everything yourself. Most of the connections are already prepared.
Preparing the AI Character Before creating the animation, you need a character image. I created mine using Meta AI, but you can also use ChatGPT, Midjourney, or any image generator you prefer. The most important part isn't the tool you use. It's the quality of the image.
These tips gave me the best results:

My Generation Settings
I wanted realistic quality without increasing the processing time too much. These are the settings I used during my test:

• Video Quality: Maximum
• Inference Steps: 20
• I left the remaining options at their default values.
For beginners, I recommend starting with the default settings before experimenting with advanced options.
Running the Workflow
After checking every connection, click the Run button.
The workflow processes each node one by one.
Depending on the current server load, generation usually takes a few minutes.
During my test, I simply waited for the workflow to complete without changing any settings.
Once the generation finished, the completed video appeared inside the output panel and was ready to download.
The Final Result
After the workflow finished processing, I downloaded the generated video and compared it with the original driving video. The overall quality surprised me. The AI character copied the facial expressions, head movement, blinking, and lip sync from the driving video with impressive accuracy. The animation looked smooth, and there were no major glitches during playback.
The face remained consistent throughout the clip, which is one of the biggest challenges with AI video generation. I also noticed that the character maintained its original identity instead of changing facial features halfway through the animation. For short-form content like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok, the quality was more than good enough.
The only minor issue I noticed was around the teeth in a few frames. During fast speech, the teeth occasionally looked slightly artificial. Videos with side angles produced more facial distortion because the AI tried to rotate the reference image.

2. Lighting Matters More Than You Think
My first test used a bright AI portrait but a dark driving video.
The final output contained strange shadows around the neck and jawline.
After matching the lighting between both files, the results became much cleaner.
Try to use images and videos with similar lighting conditions.
3. High Resolution Images Produce Better Videos
I also tested smaller images.
The difference was obvious.
Low-resolution images produced softer faces and reduced overall quality.
Whenever possible, generate your AI character at 1024 × 1024 resolution or higher.
A better input almost always creates a better output.
